McCracken Golf Club was organized in February 1922. Bert Juvenal's pasture was selected for the location of the links. Membership dues was $3.00 a year and membership limited to 30 members. It was made with sand greens so that the upkeep and maintenance would be easier for the volunteer staff. and remains so today.
On the McCracken course you may be golfing and see wild turkeys, deer, frogs, and many types of wildlife around you. The course is built around Big Timber Creek. Presently there are a few Buffalo Wallows left by past herds from many years ago.
McCracken Golf Course is a 9 hole course that plays to a par 35 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,800 yards.
