Royal Oaks Golf Club, previously named Ohio County Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Hartford, Kentucky.
Designed by Ken Beck, the Royal Oaks golf course first opened to play in 1965.
Royal Oaks Golf Club is regulation nine hole course was built on predominantly level rolling terrain, but there is some slight mounding that can affect your shots. There are water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Royal Oaks Golf Club plays to a par-35 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,912 yards.
As of 15 March 2009, the course was for sale. The sales brochure stated, "Beautiful 9 hole golf course located in Ohio County Kentucky. 200,000 residents within a 45-mile radius. 72 acre golf course, 2000 sq ft club house, in-ground pool with bath house, multiple cart sheds and utility sheds and all tractors and equipment to operate. The course also has an aqua chipping range, ball dispencing system, 18 golf carts, and a a strong member base. 2 miles from Western Kentucky Parkway. Owner wants to sell to retire because of health reasons. Asking price, $750,000.
