The Pioneer is the shortest of the courses playing to a par 71. The Pioneer first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Taylor Boyd. The Pioneer Course is the original course and is the least difficult. The terrain is gently rolling and water comes into play on three holes.
The Willows first opened for play in 1978. The Willows Course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, offers golfers a scenic and challenging test of tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. The Willow Course is the longest and tightest and was built on fairly flat terrain and has water hazards coming into play on five holes.
Fox Run first opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by renowned architect Arthur Hills. Fox Run is consistently rated one of the most challenging public courses in the State of Kentucky. The most difficult is the Fox Run Course. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and chose it as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. It was built on rolling terrain and has water coming into play on hole #18, a 558-yard, par 5.
