Penn Run Golf Course

Penn Run Golf Course, also known as Pennsylvania Run Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Louisville, Kentucky.

The golf course first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Matthew Emberson.

The front nine has generous size landing areas. The back nine has hilly terrain and tight fairways. Water hazards come into play on #3, 6, 16, 17,  and 18.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,217 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,511 yards and plays to a par-73 for women. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 564 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 146 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a slight dog-leg right 507-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Pennsylvania Run Golf Course is # 12, a 341 yard par-4.
