Detailed description

Green Meadow Country Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Pikeville, Kentucky

The course first opened in 1951. The course was designed by Charlie Keyser. Charlie was a nationally recognized amateur player and a prominent Pikeville businessman in the 1950s.

The course is set in a valley in the beautiful small mountains of Eastern Kentucky. The terrain is slightly undulating, with some tree-lined fairways. There is one lake that comes into play on holes #2 and #5. The only two dogleg fairways on this course are on holes #3 and #5. The most difficult hole is #9, a 447-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot to a well-bunkered green. There are additional tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,915 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,600 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 526 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 111 yards from the back tees.
