The idea to build a club where Cardinal fans could come together to share their passion for golf was conceived in 1998. After a few years of nurturing and construction, the Cardinal Club golf course opened for play in October 2001.
The Cardinal Club is home to the University of Louisville golf teams. It has a heated covered area for winter practice for the teams! The course is the site of the 2012 NCAA men's tournament. The Cardinal Club is also the home course of PGA Tour Player and University of Louisville Graduate, Ted Schultz.
The Cardinal Club plays to a par-72 and measures 6,945 yards from the champion tees. The course rating is 73.4 with a slope rating of 134
The Cardinal Club prides itself with immaculately manicured greens, rolling bent grass fairways and a multi-tiered, 22-acre practice facility.
