Cabo Real Golf Club

Cabo Real Golf Club is a public resort 18-hole golf course located in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The course was reborn in 1993 with a redesign of an existing course by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Home to two PGA Senior Slam events (1996, 1999), and other prestigious golf tournaments, the 6,988 yard golf course offers elevation changes, canyon vistas, ocean views and an ocean bordering hole on the Sea of Cortes.

The spectacular oceanfront holes put Cabo Real on the golf world map in 1996 when whales put on a spectacular show breaching just yards offshore during the Senior Slam golf tournament.

#6, a 223 yard par-3 sits on a bluff. The hole offers a view of endless palm trees and beautiful white sand beach.

The back nine holes are chiseled into desert foothills at the foot of rugged mountain peaks. Free-form bunkers and small, elevated greens combine with fairways that play along ridge tops, to provide an expansive feel. 

Long considered the favorite of many pros, the Cabo Real course is a must during any visit.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,848 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,947 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 564 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 143 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 14, a 454-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Cabo Real Golf Club is # 7, the 143 yard par-3.
