Cajun Oaks Golf Course, previously named Links Of Lafayette is a Public, 18 hole golf facility located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Cajun Oaks has two, 9-hole courses, they are The Regulation Nine, and The Par-3 Nine.
The Oaks Golf Courses opened for play in 1993. The courses were designed by David Duhon.
The Regulation Course is a links-style design. It's flat fairways are wide because there are very few trees. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. All nine greens are undulating, and all nine tee boxes are elevated. The signature hole is #9, a 392-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a canal, then an approach shot to a green protected by water on two sides.
The Regulation Course plays to a 9-hole par-35 with tee boxes measuring 2,610 yards, 2,440yards and 1,980 yards.
The Par 3 Course was built on flat terrain, and water only comes into play on two holes. The signature hole is #8, a 163-yard, par 3, featuring a pond protecting the front of the green and a wooded area with a canal in the rear.
The Par 3 Course plays to a 9-hole par-27. The Blue tees measure 1,198 yards and the Red tees play to 1,063 yards.
The Cajun Oaks Golf Courses closed in 2006.
