This Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva designed course opened for play in 1989.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,359 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,786 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 480 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 12, a 462-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Sable Oaks Golf Course is # 8, the 147 yard par-3.

The course closed in 2019.

On January 24, 2019 club management announced that the club was closing. The owner of the property says the land will be converted to residential housing
