The Grindstone Neck Golf Course first opened for play in 1891. Alex Findlay redesigned the original holes in the early 1900's, and Charles Clarke later remodeled some holes.
The Grindstone Neck Golf Course overlooks Cadillac Mountain and the rocky cliffs of Iron Bound Island. There is an ocean view form every hole. The design includes narrow fairways, making this quaint course nearly as challenging as it is scenic. Gas carts are only available for members.
The mens tees play to 3,095 yards and the women's tees play to 2,550 yards. Par for the 9-holes is 36.
