Fountain Head Country Club first opened for play in 1924. The course was designed by Donald Ross.
Designed by legendary Donald J. Ross, Fountain Head Country Club has been referred to as a “hidden gem." The course has made minor changes through the years but remains untouched by today’s standards and some consider Fountain Head the only remaining Ross design in Maryland. The course is defined by tree lined fairways and small undulating greens placing a premium on positioning and imagination. The course has four sets of tees and a set of family tees during summer.
