Rattlewood Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Mount Airy, Maryland.
Rattlewood golf course first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Brian T. Ault.
The Course was acquired by the Montgomery County Revenue Authority, a public corporation,in 1995 from a private developer. The par 72 course is average in length, but somewhat challenging. There is an interesting variety of holes offering tempting risk/reward opportunities. Among golfers, Rattlewood has a reputation for being open during wet conditions because it drains very effectively.
Rattlewood is eight miles north of Damascus on Penn Shop Road off Maryland Route 27.
