Green Hill Yacht & Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Quantico, Maryland.
Green Hill Yacht & Country Club was founded in 1925. The course was officially opened for play 1927. In 1925, a group of 25 men purchased the land from Mr. Harry Jones for $10,000 with the plan of building a 9-hole golf course. The course officially opened in May of 1927, although golf had been being played on the course for over a year. In May of 1928, the clubhouse was completed at a cost of another $10,000. Dues at this time were $100.00 annually for the gentlemen and $50.00 for ladies. They have no doubt increased a bit since then.%u200B
