Argyle Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Argyle first opened for play in 1945. The course was designed by William H. Tucker and Donald J. Ross. The course was redesigned by Ed Ault and Al Jamison in 1960.
This hilly course has small greens that are well bunkered and sloped. The signature hole is #17, a 179-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from off an extremely elevated tee box over both a stream and pond to a well-bunkered, postage stamp-sized green.
