White Oak Golf Course, CLOSED 2006

White Oak Golf Course is a public 9-hole golf course located in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This nicely maintained 9-hole course, located on the former Naval Surface Warfare Center in White Oak, offers golfers an affordable outing. It's very popular with intermediate golfers as well as beginners.

The Naval Ordnance Laboratory (NOL), now disestablished, formerly located in White Oak, Maryland was the site of considerable work that had practical impact upon world technology. The White Oak site of NOL has now been taken over by the Food and Drug Administration.

White Oak Golf Course closed in 2006.
