Farm Neck Golf Club

Farm Neck Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vinyard, Massachusetts.

The Farm Neck golf course first opened for play in 1979. The course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish, Bill Robinson and Patrick Mulligan.

The Farm Neck golf course is a perfect combination of ocean views and inland holes, none of which are forgettable. The course difficulty at Farm Neck is predicated on weather conditions. As the wind blows, your challenge can change from round to round.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6815 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4987 yards.

#2 - Par 5 - 528 Yards. It's slightly uphill, with bunkers on both sides of the fairway at the landing area. The approach shot is uphill to a difficult to putt, two-tiered green with large bunkers protecting the front, right, and left side of the green. If you're laying up, make sure you aim up the left side of the fairway as terrain slopes to the right.

#3 - Par 4 - 362 Yards. This hole is the #18 handicap hole meaning it is the easiest hole on which to score well.

#4 - Par 3 - 173 Yards. This is the shortest hole at the Farm Neck golf course. It's a slightly downhill par 3, that plays shorter than it's yardage, and is pure beauty. Take a minute to look past the green at Sengenkontacket Pond. The green is very small in width, with two trees coming into play just a few feet off the green and further protected by three difficult bunkers.

# 8 - Par 5 - 504 Yards. This is another very scenic hole. It runs along Sengenkontacket Pond. Tee shots to the right may very well end up on the actual beach. There is marsh all the way up the right side of this hole to the green.

# 11 - Par 5 - 557 Yards. This is the longest hole at Farm Neck Golf Club.

#12 - Par 4 - 404 Yards. This is the #1 handicap hole and for good reason. It's a dogleg to the right with a large pond straight out through the fairway.

#14 - Par 4 - 339 Yards. The fairway is relatively straight and runs parallel to Beach Road. The left side of this hole has high grass and trees. Hit it straight and you should have a clean shot to the green. On you're second shot select the right club as going long is disaster. Behind the green is the Sengy Pond.
