Pleasant Valley Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Sutton, Massachusetts.
Pleasant Valley Country Club first opened for play in 1961. The course was designed by Don Hoenig.
In 1962 The LPGA Lady Carling Open was played at Pleasant Valley. The PGA Tour began its annual retreat to Sutton in 1965 with the Carling World Open. Since then, Pleasant Valley has hosted forty-seven National Championships on both the LPGA and PGA Tours.
The small town of Sutton didn't fit the changing image that the PGA wanted to project. The last Tour event the CVS Charity Classic was played at Pleasant Valley in 1998
Pleasant Valley is a 6,988-yard, par 72 golf course with 30,000 sq. ft. clubhouse situated on 136 acres. The fairways are wide open, and the greens are large.
