County Highlands Golf Course

County Highlands Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Bear Lake, Michigan, about 10 minutes from the Little River Casino, and 40 minutes south of Traverse City.

County Highlands Golf Course first opened for play in 1966

This course was built on very rolling terrain, so you can expect uneven lies and many changes in elevation. The wind is what makes this course quite challenging. The tree-lined fairways range from open to narrow, and the large greens are undulating. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on seven holes. Some of the greens and tee boxes are elevated.
