Manitou Passage Golf Club, previously named King's Challenge At Lakeview Country Club, is a semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Cedar, Michigan.
Opened in 1998, this course was designed and built by Arnold Palmer and Palmer Design Course Company. Taking full advantage of the natural contours of the land, Palmer Design created a unique and scenic course of incomparable beauty. In Arnold Palmer's own words, "If we were to pick a place or situation to build a course, this is the place." Hilly vistas and elevated tees abound, and are both challenging and rewarding.
In the spring of 2009, a group of dedicated golfers who have permanent or seasonal homes in the area purchased the course with the stated intention of upgrading it dramatically and making it a destination course. The Arnold Palmer Design Company of Orlando, Florida and Peridian International of Newport Beach, California were retained to designed the improvements to the course and clubhouse respectively.
