Oakhurst Golf & Country Club is a Private Country Club located in an 800-acre development, of which 180 acres encompass the eighteen hole course. The golf course layout features an elevation differential of seventy feet from top to bottom. There is a significant amount of wetlands in the design, with water coming into play on eleven holes. This is a typical Arthur Hills design with grass faced bunkers and small to average greens. There is only a handful of fairways that feature trees. Soft mounding is found throughout the course.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 7,054 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,110 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 560 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 186 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 463 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 303 yard par-4.

The signature hole is #7, a 412-yard, par 4, with a stand-alone tree in the dogleg fairway. A large bunker in the middle of the fairway presents golfers with a number of options to the green. The small green is guarded by a deception bunker and a sand bunker.
