The course opened for play in 1927. Back then the greens were made of sand.
The Greenville Country Club Golf Course is a mature and pretty course. A road that is considered out-of-bounds runs alongside several of the fairways. The greens are very undulating, and the fairways are typically wide open. There are additional tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.

Red tees: [ar-6, 2,498 yards, 33.9/ 116
This nine-hole club, part of Greenville history for nearly 90 years, closed in 2011.
