Detailed description
The Kingsley Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Kingsley, Michigan, about 12 minutes south of Traverse City, Michigan.

The Kingsley Club first opened for play in 2001. The course was designed by Mike DeVries.

The Kingsley Club golf course is a par 71 course plays 6,911 yards from the tips. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are fescue.

The Kingsley Club golf course rests on high rolling grass land, accented with mature hardwoods and pine forests. The front 9 is designed in a tree-lined parkland style, while the back 9 is more open and "linksy". The greens are meduim sized, averaging 8,000 square feet, are well undulated, and play fast. Very little earth was moved during construction, and the course follows the natural lay of the land.

Dr. Gary Wiren, a Golf Magazine "Top 100 Teacher" ranks The Kingsley Club as one of his top 5 favorite golf courses. He said, "You would swear when playing at Kingsley that you had just dropped from a helicopter into the middle of Scotland or Ireland. It is a true links in character even with the Michigan pines that surround it. The fast-running fescue fairways and undulating greens have both speed and a bit of trickery to keep you alert. The two most difficult holes are the second and the ninth, par 3s of only 162 and 157 yards. Some people walk off these shorts holes with a score of 2, others with a 7. The course bunkering is great, and the whole scene is wonderful."
