Royal Scot Golf Course first opened for play in 1962 as an 18-hole golf course. An additional 9-holes opened in 2001 and was designed by Raymond Hearn.
The original 18-hole Royal Scot Golf Course has been described as an interesting course because there are six easy holes, six somewhat difficult holes, and six extremely difficult holes. The course is a Scottish links design. The undulating greens are difficult to read at times. This facility also offers indoor golfing on Virtual (Reality) Golf Machines.
The 18-hole course at the Royal Scot Golf Course facility plays to a par-71 and a maximum distance of 6,809 yards.
The 9-hole course at the Royal Scot Golf Course facility plays to a par-35 and a maximum distance of 3,700 yards.
