Currie Golf Course is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Midland, Michigan. The facility has an 18-hole course, The West Course, a 9-hole course, The East Course, and a 9-hole par-3 course, The Par-3 Course.
Currie East first opened in 1954. Currie East is the original 18-hole layout designed and constructed by Mr. Gilbert Currie, the man for whom Currie Municipal Golf Course is named. The front nine was closed in 2015 to accommodate a new Driving Range.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,185 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,581 yards. The longest hole on the course is 8, a par-5 that plays to 503 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 164 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for #9, a 382-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Currie East is # 2, the 164 yard par-3.
