Lynx Golf Course, previously named The Lynx Of Allegan, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Otsego, Michigan.
The Lynx Golf Course first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Charlie Scott & Jon Scott.
Both Nines start and end at the highest elevation levels on the course roughly 90 feet above the Kalamazoo River Valley. Well-conditioned greens and strategically placed bunkers add to the fun for a challenging round of golf.
#1 is a short 321-yard, Par 4 into a blind green. Big hitters can go for the green at the base of the hill but must pay close attention to the bunker in front of the green as well as the area behind the green to avoid going out of bounds. Before leaving the green, take a look behind you and you will notice the slopes of Bittersweet Ski Resort.
# 5 is an uphill 528-yard, Par 5 to an elevated green that is surrounded by bunkers.
#9 is a short uphill 353-yard par-4 dogleg left with a well-positioned bunker at the bend of the fairway.
The Back Nine begins with one of the Lynx Signature Holes, a 411-yard, Par 4 with a 90-foot elevation drop and more outstanding tree top views.
# 14 is the second signature hole, a 171-yard, Par 3 with an elevated tee box looking down at the Kalamazoo River running along the backside of the green.
# 15 is a long 566-yard, Par 5 running alongside the Kalamazoo River.
# 16 is an uphill 361-yard, Par 4 protected by pine trees and bunkers near the green.
#18 is an uphill, 347-yard, Par 4 to an elevated green providing many more tree top views along with beautiful views of the glass-walled clubhouse.
The Lynx Golf Course is a par-72 layout that plays to 6,471 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 72.1 with a slope rating of 141.
