Sunnybrook Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This facility has three nine hole courses (Green 9, Red 9, and Orange 9) that are played as The Regulation Eighteen (Green 9 & Red 9) and The Regulation Nine (Orange 9).
The Regulation 18 opened in 1934. The Regulation 18 was designed by Donald Ross.
These courses are always well maintained. The Regulation 18 is a target design. The fairways are forgiving, and the greens are medium in size and speed.
Sunnybrook Golf Course closed in 2015.
A Macomb County institution since the Great Depression era, Sunnybrook had a 58-lane bowling alley and 27-hole golf course and hotel.
The property sold for a reported $12 million. Sunnybrook is now being redeveloped for manufacturing uses.
