Sunnybrook Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This facility has three nine hole courses (Green 9, Red 9, and Orange 9) that are played as The Regulation Eighteen (Green 9 & Red 9) and The Regulation Nine (Orange 9).
The Regulation 18 opened in 1962. The Regulation 18 was designed by Al Lopez.
These courses are always well maintained. The Regulation 9 has generous fairways and well-manicured greens that are medium-sized. There are ponds or a creek coming into play on both courses. The terrain is basically flat and easy to walk.
Blue tees: par-36, 2,903 yards
Red tees: par-36, 2,593 yards
Sunnybrook Golf Course closed in 2015.
A Macomb County institution since the Great Depression era, Sunnybrook had a 58-lane bowling alley and 27-hole golf course and hotel.
The property sold for a reported $12 million. Sunnybrook is now being redeveloped for manufacturing uses.
