Elmbrook Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Traverse City, Michigan.
Elmbrook golf course first opened in 1964. The course was designed by Vern Nelson.
Elmbrook is situated on high, naturally rolling terrain with panoramic views of East and West Grand Traverse Bays and the surrounding area. The fairways are lined with mature hardwood and pine trees, and there are unique sand and water features, as well. Many of the holes have tees perched atop ridges, and several fairways lay on the bottoms of valley floors with hills on either side.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6027 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5028 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 490 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 425 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at the Elmbrook Golf Course is # 14, the 155 yard par-3.
