The course plays longer than the yardage indicates, plus it can be difficult at times because of a winding creek jutting across and alongside many of the narrow fairways.

Watch out for # 4, a 385 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. This signature hole requires a tee shot up a dogleg fairway, then an approach shot to a small, well-bunkered green. The easiest hole at Mitchell Creek Golf Course is # 8, a 335 yard par-4.
