Eagle Crest Golf Club, previously named Huron Golf Club, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on the banks of Ford Lake.
Eagle Crest Golf Club first opened for play in 1987. The course was designed by Karl V. Litten.
Eagle Crest Golf Club measures 6,755 yards from the tips and plays to a par-72. Overall, the terrain is hilly, and the speed of the greens varies from medium to fast, depending on the seasonal weather conditions.
The course is owned by Eastern Michigan University, whose team nickname was changed from the Hurons to the Eagles. The course has a parkland style and a bent fairway grass. The course is open from March to November.
#16, a par-5, is the Eagle Crest’s signature hole. #16 has a peninsula green that extends into Ford Lake.
