Wildflower Golf Course at Fair Hills Resort, is a Resort, 27 hole golf facility located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, about 15 minutes from Detroit Lakes and 45 minutes from Fargo. The facility has the 18 hole Wildflower Championship Golf Course, and the nine hole Wildflower Executive Course.
Wildflower Golf Course first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand.
Open prairie lands and oak-lined fairways make Wildflower Golf Course an aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable course to play. The course's distinctive 'Prairie Links' design is unique in Minnesota. The Wildflower Course was built on 240 acres of spacious land featuring several elevation changes. There is a 90-foot elevation change from the highest tee to the lowest tee. The greens are large. There is no water coming into play, but the course is heavily bunkered. This scenic course provides many panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Wildflower Golf Course plays to a par-72 and measures 7,000 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 74.2 with a slope rating of 139.
