Edina Country Club

Edina Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Edina, Minnesota

The course opened in 1923 with 9-holes. The course was redesigned and expanded to 18 holes in 1924. Tom Bendelow was the course architect. In 2010-11, the team of Tom Lehman and Chris Brands redesigned the course, installing new greens complexes, bunkers, tees and fairway grasses -- but keeping the same basic layout.

The design includes oak trees lining the narrow fairways, and greens that are small and fast. Water hazards come into play on five holes. 

The course is draped across gently rolling terrain, with numerous, but subtle, elevation changes and a repeated theme is the very close proximity from green to the following tee, making it a very friendly course for walking.

The tees and greens have been designed to allow a large variety of set-ups to make sure the 'average player' has a unique experience each time on the course.
