Detailed description

Pebble Lake Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Pebble Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1941. The course was designed by Paul N. Coates.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,662 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,289 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 522 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 145 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 407 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 163 yard par-3.

#18, a 388 yard, par-4,  has been was featured in the Minnesota Golfer Magazine "Great Drives" feature, and for good reason. The tee is elevated and offers a beautiful view of the tree-lined fairway. The hole doglegs left around a tall strand of strategically placed trees. While the fall in elevation assists the tee shot, the approach is dramatically up-hill to a two-tiered putting surface. A reasonable birdie attempt requires two very well-played shots. Merely making the putting surface does not suffice as the green presents a putting challenge that will range from moderate to extreme. The eighteenth offers the potential for a wide array of scores, making it an ideal closing hole.
