Monticello Country Club first opened for play in 1969. The original 9 holes were designed by Tim Murphy. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1987 and opened in July the following year with Joel Goldstrand designing the addition.
The Monticello Country Club is a semi-private golf course, inviting both memberships and public play. The course's majestic oaks, meandering creeks and ponds provide an excellent setting for this challenging, but enjoyable 18 hole championship course.

Watch out for # 9, a 444 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Monticello Country Club is # 10, a 185 yard par-3.
