Creek's Bend Golf Course first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand.
Creeks Bend is an 18-hole championship course for golfers of all ages and abilities. The course was developed on 230 acres of wooded, rolling hills and native prairie, combined with over 80 acres of ponds and wetlands. Creeks Bend Golf Course is named for the characteristics of the creek that curves through the course and adjacent to the 1930's original barn turned clubhouse. First time golfers may feel like they have stepped back in time as they play amidst the barn turned clubhouse, an old schoolhouse occasionally used as a snack stop, and bridges that have a sturdy look reminiscent of the 1940's, all of which combine to create the character of CreeksBend.
With holes ranging in length from 142 to 513 yards, the par 71 layout provides generous landing areas in it's fairways. Some of the fairways are tree lined with the creek and marshes coming into play on nine holes. The signature Seventh hole, a 161-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over the creek to a green protected by water short, left and long, with the only bailout, to the right of the green, towards the bunker.
CreeksBend features a 10,000 square feet practice putting green, combined with a chipping green and driving range featuring natural grass tee box areas.
