Zumbrota Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Zumbrota, Minnesota.
Zumbrota Golf Club first opened for play in 1927.
The front nine was built in 1927 and features beautiful views with tree lined fairways and impeccable greens. Zumbrota Golf Club originally opened with sand greens, in the 1960's they transitioned from sand to the bent grass greens that they have today. With three par 3's and one par 5, it plays to a par of 34, but it would be a mistake to underestimate our amazing front 9.
To compliment the traditional front 9, a Links Style back 9 was added in 2005. Fashioned in the Scottish Links style design, the back 9 blends doglegs and natural prairie grasses with massive, multi-tiered greens.
The course has oak, fir, pine, and walnut trees lining the fairways. In addition, water hazards (three lakes) come into play on four holes.
Par for the front nine is 34. From the back tees, the front nine plays to 2,806 yards. From the forward tees, the front nine measures 2,455 yards. The longest hole on the front nine course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 501 yards. The shortest hole on the front nine is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.
The 18-hole course plays to a par-69 and maximum distance of 5,907 yards.
