Castlewoods Golf Club, the North Nine, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Brandon, Mississippi.
The North Nine was part of the original Castlewoods Golf Course which opened in 1976.
The original eighteen-hole course was split in 1994, allowing nine holes (The North Nine) to be played by itself while another a new nine holes were added to the remaining nine original holes, creating the Bear Course at Castlewoods.
The North Nine Course features fairways built on rolling terrain. Water hazards (three ponds) come into play on four holes. The large greens are somewhat undulating and some of them are double and triple-tiered.
The North Nine at Castlewoods closed in 2004.
