Okatoma Golf Course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Rich Fulkerson.
Okatoma Golf Course was built on rolling terrain and the course has narrow fairways. The greens are average-sized, moderately undulating and some are quite sloped. There are several sand bunkers incorporated into the course design, and water comes into play on five holes. The most difficult hole is #14, a 391-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot off a hill to a valley landing area, then an approach shot over a lake to the green. The easiest hole is #13, a 479, yard par 5.
