The Country Club of Blue Springs golf course first opened for play in 1969. The course was built/designed by Colonel John Davis on approximately 115 acres.
Soon afterwards, nine local men formed a corporation known as Blue Springs Country Club, Inc. and purchased the facility with a membership of approximately 400 members in 1972.
The Country Club of Blue Springs golf course has several streams that flow through the design and two main ponds located in the middle of the course. Hole #12, a 518-yard, par 5, was rated as one of the best in the city by "The Kansas City Star."
The Country Club of Blue Springs golf course plays to a par-72 amd 6,630 yards from the Black tees. The course rating is 72.4 and the slope rating is 131.
