Open since 1921, Columbia Country Club has long been considered "The Original Club"… Columbia's first private golf club. With the original nine holes designed by J.M. Watson in 1921. and the back nine created by Roger Packard in 1987, this 6,436-yard, par 71 championship golf course captivates players from beginning to end. Having hosted PGA Tour Professionals such as the legends Ben Hogan and Sam Sneed, CCC has cemented itself as a premier, traditional course.
Smiley Bell (1949) and Larry Packard (1970) redesigned the original holes, and Roger Packard designed nine new ones, which were added in 1986.
The beauty and classic layout of this 18-hole championship golf course boasts heavily wooded fairways, meandering Hinkson Creek, and lightning-fast greens. This course features water hazards coming into play on three holes. The signature hole is #12, a 552-yard, par 5, highlighted by a double dogleg fairway.
