Marshfield Country Club
Marshfield Country Club first opened for play in 1954. The course was redesigned by Larry W. Flatt.
Marshfield Country Club has wide-open fairways. The front nine is flat and the back nine is rolling. The greens are fairly small and level. Five acres of water hazards (two lakes and one pond) come into play on five holes. There are many out-of-bounds stakes lining the holes and several well-positioned sand bunkers.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 5,938 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 4,609 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 515 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 145 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 422 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The 2nd most most difficult hole is at Marshfield Country Club is #15, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring an uphill tee shot that plays into a prevailing wind to a landing area between two stands of trees. The easiest hole at Marshfield Country Club is # 14, a 147 yard par-3.
