Mt. Vernon Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located on the North East edge of Mount Vernon, Missouri.
The course first opened for play in 1943.
High school golf team privileges extend Monday - Friday, during the golf season. List of players to be furnished by the school.
A maximum of five weekend tournaments (when the course is closed) will be allowed per year. Cost is $500/per day for use of the course. Weekday tournaments must be cleared with the Parks and Recreation Committee and Mayor.
The course was built on rolling terrain and features tree-lined fairways. The greens are medium in size and speed. There are a few sand bunkers scattered around the course, and water hazards come into play on holes #1 and #9.
