St. Joseph Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
The formation of The Country Club dates to 1898 and the golf course dates to 1912. The course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast. Both Bob Dunning and Donald Sechrest have done renovations on this course. The course has some very difficult holes, so shot accuracy is a must if you wish to score well. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on three holes. With the exception of two holes, all the holes are well bunkered.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,582 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,188 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 605 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 443 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, the 155 yard par-3.
