Siler's Shady Acres Golf Course opened in 1940. The course was designed by Herman Siler.

This course has plenty of trees that can alter your shots. The greens are small, fast, and slightly sloped. The hilly fairways are tree lined. A lake crosses two fairways, and a few sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. Men and women play from the same tees.

Blue tees: par-69 5,320 yards

Red tees: par-70 5,320 yards

Siler's Shady Acres Golf Course closed in 2002.
