Warrenton Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course is located 3.5 miles south of Warrenton Missouri on Highway 47.
The Warrenton Golf has been family owned and operated since opening in 1971. The course was designed by Larry Luecke and Keith Luecke.
The course has undergone many changes since its opening. It became 18 holes in 1978 and in 1999 the front nine’s (the original 9 holes) renovation was completed. These renovations included rebuilding all 9 greens and adding a new hole while rerouting 2 others and vastly improving a third hole. This course has hilly fairways on the back nine and flat fairways on the front nine. There are four ponds that come into play on five different holes. Some of the tees and greens are elevated and there are eight bunkers on the course.
The 5762 yard course does not wind through a housing development, but has 15 holes that play around mature woods and 5 holes that play over and around water. The many risk reward holes makes this course both fun and challenging. Every year some kinds of improvements are made to the course
