Shawnee Bend Golf Club first opened for play in 1985
Shawnee Bend Golf Club is a short, but difficult course has some blind dogleg fairways and out-of-bounds on five of the nine holes. On one particular hole, the golfer is required to hit his or her tee shot between cliffs, while on other holes golfers must negotiate their way up dogleg fairways. The course is located right next to Truman Lake and the Truman Dam.
This regulation length 9-hole layout has 3 sets of teeboxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. Shawnee Bend Golf Course measures 3,083 yards from the tips and plays to a 9-hole par of 36. Shawnee Bend golf course opened in 1986.
