Whitetail Run Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Fremont, Nebraska, overlooking the Platt River.
Whitetail Run Golf Course first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Larry Reed.
The course has narrow fairways set on hilly terrain, so expect some uneven lies. In addition, the small greens are dome-shaped and difficult to hold.
Holes 2, 5 and 7 have narrow, tightly tree-lined fairways with no room for error. A unique feature is that the par 3's are long, averaging 188 yards, and the par 4's are short, averaging just 285 yards.
Par for the course is 34 for men and 36 for women. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,461 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,350 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 484 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 173 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, the 484-yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Whitetail Run Golf Course is # 9, a 222 yard par-4.
