Pawnee Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Martin Johnson, Jr.
Pawnee Hills Golf Course was built on hilly terrain. From the south end to the north end of the course there is a 200-foot incline. From the top of the tee box on #6 you can view of the whole Loop River Valley. The fairways are wide open and lined by young trees that will close the openings as the course matures. The greens are large and fast.
#2, a 503-yard, par 4, requiring an uphill tee shot. #2 is the most difficult hole. A man-made lake comes into play on holes #7 and #8.
