Riverview Country Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Scottsbluff , Nebraska to the west of Scottsbluff National Monument.
Riverview Country Club first opened for play in 1940.
The Riverview Country Club course's fairways are lined with oak and pine trees. Greenside bunkers have been incorporated into the design of every hole, so accurate approach shots are required if you hope to shoot a low round. In addition, water hazards (ponds) come into play on four holes. Riverview has an aqua driving range for warming up prior to your round or for general practice. The front nine plays tougher than the back.
The fairways have many small plateaus and ridges. Holes six through nine are as scenic and challenging as any four hole series in the state. The sixth requires a 150 yard carry over a pond to a narrow green. The seventh starts with a tee shot over water, between two cottonwoods, to a fairway leading to a steeply tilted green. The long par 3 eighth and par 4 ninth are lined with towering, overhanging cottonwoods.
If you like good golf and eye-pleasing scenery, you'll enjoy Riverview.
Riverview Golf & Country Club measures 6,024 yards from the back tees and plays to a par-70 . The course rating is 68.1 with a slope rating of 116.
