Dayton valley first opened for play in 1991. The par-72 course was designed by Arnold Palmer.
Dayton Valley Country Club is located forty minutes south of Reno and about the same distance from Lake Tahoe. The course has forty acres of water hazards, which can impact play on twelve different holes. Several of the holes have dogleg fairways around lakes.
This Arnold Palmer Signature designed, high-desert, championship golf course is home to a PGA Tour Qualifier since 1995. This is the longest standing site in the U.S.A., to date (1/2010).
